I have a mix of feelings right now. I feel very sad because I finished my coaching sessions with Karen...and at the same time I feel just SO good of all the results I got with her!! Last night I was thinking on how much she helped me get through my challenges, some very hard at the moment of our sessions, and how empathetic, kind and understanding she was. M L
I have recently experienced a lot of upset in my life. It's been a time of unsettled transition ; a good time to look at making positive changes. I really needed some guidelines to help me maintain some order and balance.
The life coaching was very effective in that it gave me a focused
direction for both my personal and my professional life. It also made me aware of my strengths and weaknesses and gave me the tools to recognise and shift my own behavioural patterns. Now I know exactly what I need to focus on in order to regain my confidence, my health and sense of fulfillment. I would recommend Karen to anyone who wants to clear the cobwebs, gain better focus, and understand them-selves better. Karen's coaching was a positive and constructive experience. I now feel less anxious and more confident to face 2014 with a SMILE! U.C
Karen was my personal Life Coach for 6 sessions. Over these past sessions, Karen was able to focus in on specific topics in my life that I was struggling with. Karen was very understanding, supportive and thought provoking. She was able to ask questions that really got me to dig deeper into my personal life. Each question lead to another, this seemed to help me answer some questions that I didn’t think to ask myself. Throughout these sessions, Karen was warm and non-judgmental. She was able to share personal experiences to relate to certain situations of mine. She was great at listening and also suggested new words/ thoughts and literature to start using in my daily life to help with challenging situations. Karen did really well at not trying to solve my problems or come up with answers, but really worked on focusing how to help alter my thinking and become more self confident and self assured. I felt as though she really cared about my well-being.
She was also very genuine, and although we had never met or really ever seen each other, I was still able to open up and be vulnerable to her. I think if Karen had not had these special traits, I would not have had such a positive first experience with a Life Coach. I am very thankful to of have this opportunity! J.W
I was silently drowning in depression when Karen was sent to me as a blessing from God, to pull me out of all the mess and help me live a life I more deserved. It changed my life for the better. It helped me get a grip over myself, coming out of depression, meeting people and reaching out to friends. It helped me with my relationship with my family. It helped me find the way back to my career after a break for 11 years. As a result of coaching I feel stronger and more equipped. I am able to look at situations from different angles. Karen is an exceptionally skilled professional with highly developed leadership and people skills. She is empathetic, discrete , remarkably supportive, gentle, compassionate yet skillfully adept at helping me focus on what was really important to me, what stood in my way and what were my next steps that I needed to take to accomplish my goals. She is a great listener. I really felt heard. So , thank you Karen, for showing me how to recognize my abilities , deal with my shortcomings and live a life with honour and happiness. After six weeks of coaching I have begun to move in a direction that I would never have done on my own and I had been hoping to do for years.
The sessions helped me crystallize what I really wanted, what was getting in my way and some of the changes that I needed to make.
The weekly commitment was important to assist with tracking progress and helped with the momentum even if I was not able to achieve or change what I needed to in the week.
I learnt how to manage my time more effectively, delegate more and prioritize what is more important to me. I have effectively been able to decide that as much as I have wanted to do everything I am not able; and now have time to relax and take life a little easier. It was immensely useful to target difficult tasks first, now facing challenges head on instead of shrinking away from them.Karen has a gentle and non-judgemental approach and is able to prompt in the directions necessary for change and development.
I am very happy with what I have accomplished during the 6 week period and I have decided to continue my coaching sessions as I am not yet where I want to be and I can see that with consistent coaching I will be able to get to a place where I will be fulfilling more of my Life Purpose. P.C
